Join us for a presentation and discussion about Lauren's work with a focus on “Beyond the Bright Sea,” which won the 2018 Scott O’Dell Award for historical fiction. An enjoyable exploration of life as it used to be on the Elizabeth Islands. Bring your questions to the Music Hall. Young and old welcome. Reception and book signing follows.
Copies of “Beyond the Bright Sea” are available for sale at the Sippican Historical Society. Copies will be available at the event.
Lauren will deliver a speech and lead a workshop at the conference. Registration closes September 8.
